Salary Checker App Reviews

Easy to use and accurate

This app was quick and easy to use. Its true that its only focus is NYC but that is because I think RW is only there and I think San Fran recently? And theyre only going to claim to know about industries they work for, right? Or else theyd have no credibility. So I think if youre looking into using RW, this app is great. I also work in retail so I can say that the numbers in that industry were pretty accurate.

Accounting Manager

Easy to use and extremely functional. Informative insight to NYC job market.

Cant change city within the US

The majority of us dont live in New York, so it isnt particularly helpful.

No customization

New York is your only option for cities and it has a very limited range of job positions

Stupid

Shouldve read the reviews first. This app is a waste of time.

Waste of my life. :( what I get for not reading reviews.

Just useless and confusing. Worse of both worlds.

What a waste if time.

I wish I could give this thing a negative score. Total POS. There are only few set categories you can check and medical field is not even on there.

Doesnt seem accurate

Seems on the high side to me. Up to 95k for an entry level aml analyst?

Not enough locations

Only offers searches in NYC or San Francisco, not great for US searches. Might be good for other countries.

Irrelevant

If youre looking for information in the US outside of NY or SanFrancisco you wont find it here. You have to fill in every field in order to receive search results. The fields are also limiting, and the choices dont always make sense.

Nice potential

Good potential here. As more information and expertise areas are updated I think it will be pretty useful!

Useless

Doesnt do much for those in US

Very useful

Very useful app - I can see, easily, the different salary bands I can expect for many locations - even internationally

Not Enough Options

Not enough title or business unit options, even for those in finance. Also salary ranges are so broad. 60K - 130K? Well, duh. I didnt need an app for that. Great concept though.

Serves less than 1% of the us work force

Only covers salaries in a few sample cities in the USA. Some jobs are not even listed as an option. I suspect this is the same behavior in other countries.

Wrong all wrong

I hire lots of engineers and know what to pay, these numbers are way low

Good potential, lacking in substance

This app has a good idea behind it, but lacks a lot of substance. Theres only two cities to choose from in the US? Really? I couldnt even get past that point since I dont live in New York or San Francisco.

Why not say you only have data for NYC & SF?

Useless

Deleted

Job title list is EXTREMELY small. Played around with this app for about 5 minutes and deleted it.

Pass

Buggy. Freezes, not very functional
